NOM-042-SEMARNAT-2003Establishes the maximum permissible limits of total or non-methane hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides and particulates from the exhaust of new motor vehicles with a gross vehicle weight not exceeding 3,857 kg, using gasoline, LPG, natural gas or diesel, as well as evaporative hydrocarbon emissions from the fuel system of such vehicles.
